That Moment I Knew My Spouse Was The One

When was the first time you knew your spouse was the one for you?

For me, I knew that my wife was going to be my wife by the end of our first date. Some people don’t believe in love at first sight, and I can’t say I knew at the very beginning of the night but I did by the end. We had dinner and movie, and then we weren’t ready for the night to be over so we went to a doughnut shop and have donuts.

During the time in the doughnut shop I could see in her eyes that we both felt the same way. I knew we were meant to be together and there was no separating us from there. We both had a lot of fun and laughter that evening. We learned we had a lot of things to share and explore together.

I’m not sure at what point she knew I was the one. She claims it was not that evening although I left her thinking that her eyes said she did. But I knew from that very first evening we were meant to be together and were going to be together forever!
